I would like the San Diego Clean Fuels coalition to join me in welcoming our latest additions to the Board of Directors:
- Jacques Chirazi, Clean Tech Program Manager, Economic Growth Services, Office of the Mayor, The City of San Diego
- Sharyl Blackington, Fleet Manager, County of San Diego
Both Jacques and Sharyl bring important views of the region into the Coalition management. Our current count is up to 16 directors, heading towards 21 to fill out the Board. We are looking at probable increased funding next year from our Dept of Energy Clean Cities parent organization. With increased funding comes increased opportunities and responsibilities to fulfill our mission in the community to educate, facilitate, and continue promoting the use of clean alternative fuels for clean air, energy security, and our planet’s sustainability.
