International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS) as we discuss policy and practical implications of

Speakers include:
• Mike Ferry
Mike is the Transportation Programs Manager for the California Center for Sustainable Energy (CCSE) and is
responsible for the operational management of all activities and functions related to transportation programs
at CCSE including the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP). He is also responsible for business development
within the transportation arena by preparing transportation related grants and proposals consistent with the
sustainable energy mission of CCSE.
• Josh Graff Zivin
Josh is an Associate Professor of International Relations and Pacific Studies and Affiliated Faculty of
Economics. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and Research
Director for International Environmental and Health Studies at the Institute for Global Conflict and
Cooperation (IGCC).
• Joel Pointon
Joel is a manager of the Electric Transportation Program for San Diego Gas and Electric which is part of the
Sempra Energy Utilities’ Clean Transportation. He currently serves as chairperson of the San Diego Clean Fuels
Coalition and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA)
and the California Electric Transportation Coalition (CalETC).

The forum is a presentation of Net Impact, the Environmental Policy and Business Forum, and IR/PS.
